This lesson shows how to use only sunlight and reflectors to light an outside casual portrait.

This urban alley was used as the set for this session. We shot looking toward the sun.
We set up a 22" MultiDisc with a LiteDisc Holder secured to a LiteStand. The white side was used to reflect the sunlight back into the model's face. |

We used the same reflector, but this time the gold reflector fabric faced our model. |

We got similar results to the first shot, but the MultiDisc warmed up the light. Notice the warmer tones on our model's face. |

To shoot a full-body shot, we would need a larger reflector. We set up two LiteStands and secured a 39"x72" LitePanel frame. The white fabric was used for the next shot. |
