Photoflex® LiteStands: One Step Further

Taking pride in every product we make, Photoflex® took things further than anyone else when we created a product that all of us as media professionals use on a daily basis: the LiteStand.

Ironically, the LiteStand is one of the most neglected of all photographic equipment considering it's importance. Realizing this Photoflex® wanted to design it as something worth admiring. We at Photoflex® have made the LiteStand stronger and more reliable to keep your equipment safe and to keep your workflow moving without delay.

Topics Covered:

    BigFoot Print

Photoflex® LiteStands have been engineered to carry more weight and have better stability than the competition. Our LiteStands are built with a wider foot print that only increases as you move up in size. [fiugre 1]

    Disc Brakes are Better

Unlike many competitors, Photoflex® uses an all aluminum brake-shoe collar, designed to more effectively hold the weight of your lighting equipment. [figures 2 & 3]

    Nuts & Bolts

Photoflex® utilizes a nut & bolt design when building our stands rather than rivets which make our LiteStands beefier and the parts more easily replaceable. [figures 4 & 5]

    Aluminum Grade

The all aluminum material for the Photoflex® LiteStand makes for a resilience that is unmatched. Check out our stress test. [figures 6 & 7]

The results of our stress test demonstrates that Photoflex® utilizes better material in the construction of our photographic equipment which results in an overall more reliable product. [figure 8]

    To the Test

Now lets put all these features to the test. When mounted with a Medium LiteDome® and strobe head the Photoflex® LiteStand beat the competition without question. [figures 9 & 10]

Notice how even with the lighter competitor strobe, the weaker LiteStand bows to the left. Photoflex® LiteStands can handle more weight far more efficiently.

When mounting a larger SoftBox (in this case a 7 foot OctoDome®) the adjustable Swivel can move forward to offset the extra weight which prevents unwanted bowing. [figure 11]

    The Photoflex® Warranty

With the best warranties in the industry, Photoflex® stands behind its products 100% from manufacturer defects. The Photoflex® LiteStand boasts an outstanding 5 year warranty.

We encourage you to research and compare our warranties to those of other manufacturers. When you discover that Photoflex® warranties are on average two to five times longer than anyone else, then it becomes clear that Photoflex® is the wiser investment. [figure 12]
